Alice finds her pointer finger!

Alice has finally found, not just her hand, but in particular her index finger. We appreciate this refinement, though only Kirke is bold enough to test whether it is intentional.

Spring makes an appearance!

Yesterday was a gorgeous spring-like day that we hope is a harbinger of things to come. We spent most of the day in Green Lake with Grandma and Grandpa and took the opportunity to take Alice off-road in her stroller. As you can see, Kirke goes for speed in his off-road strolling.

Alice grows into her stroller and snow suit

To say that Alice fits into either her stroller or snow suit would be a bit of an exaggeration--however, we do think she is very cute in both!

Also, for those of you who know of Kirke's love of bike accessories--yes, he has already installed a bell on the stroller. Happily for Kirke, the stroller provides a whole new handlebar to accessorize.

Traveling in Style at Olbrich Gardens

Another first.....Kirke, Sarah and Alice went on a sight seeing adventure to Olbrich Gardens in Madison. For $2, we got to walk around in a tropical paradise with a crying baby.....take that Hawaiian travelers.....

Green Lake Visitors

This weekend as Grandma Ann and Grandpa Barry were preparing for the great Hawaiian tsunami that never came, Auntie Gin-Gin and the Z's did come to visit Alice in Madison.

Baby Adventures

Last weekend, Alice made her first overnight trip to Winona, MN! We learned that Alice has a 2.5 hour travel window, requires more than the 5 diapers and 2 outfits that Kirke initially packed for her and likes hanging out at Grandma's house! While I don't have any pictures of it, one of the cutest parts of the trip was her cousin Leo (19 months) coming to coo and pet her hair, exclaiming "Beeeee!," whenever she was remotely at his eye level.
