Farming

Our neighbors are on vacation for the month, so they asked us to take care of their Guinea Pig. Kirke has been encouraging Alice to help out, too. She helps feed Stitch and then tries to eat any little turds that are left sitting on the floor.

No piggies were harmed in the filming of this video.

Three months old and she can sit up straight!

If you can overlook the drool on her chin and the snot in her nose, she's actually getting to be kind of cute. Or as Kirke says, "she's a nice baby."

Bath time is not our favorite time...

The problem with letting Kirke babysit while he's working in the garden is that he'll often misplace the baby.

Weekend Visitors

This weekend, Grandpa Ted and Grandma Sandy came to visit. Grandpa and Kirke did lots of household tasks getting us ready for spring, while Grandma Sandy and Sarah cooked and played with Alice. Here are some pictures of Alice with Grandma and Grandpa and a rare picture of Alice, Mom and Dad!

To celebrate the end of Alice's first week at daycare, Kirke and neighbor Dano aerated our lawns. Here you can see the boys and their toys. Alice also found the process tiring!

Alice passed a number a milestones during her first week of daycare....she caught her first cold AND learned to wear tennis shoes. oh the places she'll go!
