As I'm sure everyone is aware, this weekend marked the opening of the epically-named and phenomenally-bad movie "Cowboys & Aliens," so of course Alice insisted that we get a group together to celebrate prior to going to see the movie. Aunt Ginny & her boyfriend Frank rode into town for a meal of octopus & pasta, green Alien Spawn Empanadas, and franks & beans.
While Alice greatly enjoyed the dinner and getting to dress up as cute little Alien spawn, she was bitterly disappointed to find out that she then had to stay home and wouldn't get to come see the movie, as it started well after her bedtime.
Well, I am looking forward to costumes for this Friday's release of Planet of the Apes. Or of the furry factor seems too warm, there is still time to jump on board with Midnight in Paris. With Kirke's writing skills he could step right into the F Scott Fitzgerald role, car included. Of course there is Alice B Toklas for Alice--an authority figure that fixes everything and valued by all. And Sarah can be the star idolized by all that teaches the lesson of the movie. Glad you still have some time to have some fun.
