Her left thumb has become Alice's go-to stress reliever. Whether she's having problems falling asleep, or is frustrated with yet another of Kirke's attempts to teach her to crawl, she can usually self-comfort with a good old-fashioned thumbsucking.

As a mom of a left handed thumb sucker, I felt a bit of memory lane seeing this picture. If she follows my son's pattern you will be jokingly saying that breast feeding may last through the teens--whew, it didn't ...BUT make certain when you pick family dental plans go for good orthodontia coverage!
